This section offers a wealth of information about the Canberra, her crew, and
activities. Current news and upcoming events of interest to our shipmates

Sea Stories
are "softer" tales and articles whose content may, or may not, be the
literal facts. The Sea
Stories are intended to provide the reader with an
"oral history," flavored by the Canberra crewman whose
experiences are being shared. We encourage shipmates to share their
recollections here.

- CANBERRA ON THE COVER!
The U.S. Navy Cruiser Sailors
Association has honored the Canberra
with an article and a beautiful photo on the cover of the current issue of
their magazine. There is even a photo by our own photographer, Ed
Huntington.
- The U.S.S.
Canberra Reunion Association has begun planning for the 2002
reunion! This year's festivities will be held in Falls
Church, Virginia. Begin your plans to join us in September.
- The CAG-2 ship's bell has been donated to Australia. See photos of
the dedication ceremony, in Washington, DC, at The
Bell.
- An incredible link between HMAS
Canberra and Flight 77 on September 11. 2001.
