OL-Division are the true "eyes" of the ship. These guys are out in all kinds of weather, keeping their eyes peeled for anything that lurks within visual range. They watch for everything from aircraft and vessels, to swimmers and periscopes. There are still things out there that electronics can't protect from. That's what the Mark I Eyeball is for.
