PLOT SHOOT!

Fox Golf Division manned and maintained the computers and directors which controlled our guns.  Off the coast of Viet Nam, these guys spent long night watches doing H&I shoots followed by long days of maintenance and repair.  The four MK 56 directors with their associated radars and computers, directors one and two, the main and secondary battery computers in main plot, were all in constant use and required on an instantaneous basis.

As we moved north and counter battery targets became a very real threat, there was additional strain placed on the men and equipment of FG Division.  Our primary mission was highly dependent upon the dedication of these men and the top-notch quality of their work.  The accuracy of our fire was their responsibility.  The success of our mission, the measure of their worth.
